Postnatal Regeneration

Support in body and mind during the postpartum period.

★★★★★ Trusted by over 500 women in Újbuda

A woman with dark hair and earrings is smiling while holding a baby close to her chest. The baby is also smiling and appears to be happy.

We know what this feels like.

You're tired, your back and lower back ache, your abdominal muscles still don't feel like they used to, it's hard to find time for yourself — and meanwhile you hear everywhere that you should "get back" to your old self as quickly as possible.

We think differently.

Birth is not something your body has simply "got through." It is a process after which time, support and regeneration are needed. Your body hasn't broken — it's healing, and it needs space and time to do so.

We support you in this.

Gentle support in body and mind.

Regeneration is not only a physical process. An equally important part of it is reconnecting with yourself and your own needs.

Activation of the core and trunk muscles

Pregnancy places significant strain on the abdominal wall and deep muscles. The right exercises help address diastasis recti, strengthen weakened core muscles and gradually rebuild stability.

Pelvic floor support

Pelvic floor recovery is crucial in the postpartum period, whether after vaginal birth or caesarean section. Its condition affects our posture, movement and the functioning of our organs.

Reducing back and lower back pain

Lifting, carrying and breastfeeding a baby frequently places increased strain on the spine. With the right exercises, we can improve posture and reduce the load on the back and lower back.

It's this simple.

75 minutes that are all about you

How is a session structured?

The session begins with a detailed assessment covering posture, core and pelvic floor function, breathing patterns and any existing complaints (e.g. lower back, hip or back pain, diastasis recti).

Following the assessment, we create a personalised movement and regeneration plan for you, which provides a stable foundation for future small-group classes or continued individual work. At the end of every session we prepare homework for you to support your practice at home.

Postnatal regeneration includes:

  • reactivation of the deep core muscles

  • pelvic floor support

  • posture improvement

  • restoration of breathing

  • gradual return to movement

  • support through the process of becoming a mother

The goal is not performance. It is safe and sustainable regeneration.

What Happens at a Consultation?

The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know your story, assess where your recovery currently stands, and together determine the next steps that are right for you. We'll talk about your pregnancy, your birth, your current life situation, and how you're feeling physically and emotionally. It's important to us that you receive support that is truly built around your individual needs. Every consultation is personalised, so no two sessions are exactly alike.

Postnatal Assessment

We review your posture, breathing, core stability, and — where needed — the condition of your abdominal muscles (such as diastasis recti). We examine how the deep core muscles and pelvic floor are working together, so we can build your recovery on safe foundations.

You Learn the Basics

You'll learn the fundamental breathing and activation exercises that support the conscious engagement of your deep core muscles and pelvic floor. These exercises also form the basis of the movement programme going forward.

We provide simple, easy-to-incorporate exercises and guidance that you can safely use in your daily life, so that your recovery continues between sessions.

We Create a Personalised Plan

By the end of the consultation, you'll have a clear picture of where you are right now, what areas to pay special attention to, and what programme or exercise plan we recommend for the period ahead.

For some, baby-mama yoga or pilates will be the best next step, while others may benefit from beginning with individual recovery exercises or a restorative massage.
